If you haven't tried this BBQ place yet, you need to! The owner is by far the nicest and most giving person in the establishment. This will sound extreme corny but I'm surprised there isn't a line out the door. The restaurant itself is very cozy and welcoming as well! 100% Recommend! Along with Deep Fried Oreos

My friends and I drove from San Jose in an attempt to find some bomb ribs and so we (three people) ordered a 4 meat Combo and a full rack. Ended up getting a whole smoked chicken and another full rack in addition to that.
The ribs were smoked and criminally juicy and the smoked chicken was to die for, the amount of spice and smokiness was heavenly! Their medium bbq sauce was perfectly sweet and spicy, definitely my favorite compared to hot and mild.
Their location is kind of sketchy but once u go in there it feels super cozy esp with the owner around! I can tell he puts his heart and soul into making his bbq.
I recommend the chicken, ribs and their hotlink. I didnt get to try their mac n cheese but their smoked potato salad was yumm. I bet their chicken sandwich is bomb, I'm salivating just imagining it! Would definitely go back!
My husband and I shared the two meat plate. He ordered the ribs and I the brisket. You get two sides. We both ordered the smoked potato salad. He said the ribs were perfectly cooked. The meat fell off of the bones because it was so tender. My brisket was very good (you can get bread if you want to make a sandwich) and even with help from my husband, we didn't finish and brought some home for later. I don't think I can say enough about the smoked potato salad. I have never had anything like it and it's worth the trip there just for a side of this potato salad. Very nice owner.

My friend and I finished a round of golf nearby and we were both craving some bbq so we decided to visit South Smokin BBQ. We both ordered the brisket meal which includes two sides. I chose the Mac & cheese + potato salad. Let me tell you, everything on the plate was amazing , including the bbq sauce.
This place offers probably the best bbq I've ever had. I will be coming back to try the rest of the menu, thanks Tim & family!
Great bbq. I ordered the brisket and ribs combo and everything was delicious. The meat was tender and the portions were reasonable. I had the bbq sauce on the side and it had a delicious hot and sweet flavor. The staff was friendly and offered me a tasting of the sides. Note that it's more of a takeout place than a sit down.
The owner who I believe makes the ribs came out to greet us. He was very nice any funny. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The ribs were perfect, fall off the bones ribs. I got the mild bbq sauce and it was served on the side which tasted bold yet balanced, I just didnt use a lot of it because I can clearly taste alcohol and I am pregnant. There was a 20 minute wait on the cornbread but I think it was worth it. In my opinion they were proper cornbreads. Would definitely come here again since I can tell how much care and effort was put into making these food and they were all worth it (forgot to take pictures since we got too busy eating lols)

I give this restaurant 5 stars. The owner Tim was very generous and made sure that we were treated great by giving us extra meat and cheese on our nachos. Both him and his wife were really sweet.
The Ambiance there is nice because everyone is friendly and they make you feel welcome. Plus some of the decorations are really funny.
We had the brisket nachos with the medium spicy sauce and for desert we had the fried Oreos with ice cream. The nachos were really good and tasty. I didn't get the photo of the fried Oreos but they were bomb.
